Reason Studios have been pioneers in the music industry since the dawn of the classic loop editor ReCycle and ReBirth, which emulated the TB-303 Roland Bass Line and TR-808 Drum Machine hardware. Our software has played a crucial role in electronic music and hiphop ever since then.
We at Reason Studios are passionate about music. The office is often buzzing with discussions about beats, tunes and music making. Ever so often you will see somebody - visiting artists or one of our employees - cranking out tunes in our own music studio.
Our passion for music also means we have close relationships with our end-users and regularly interact with musicians and producers world-wide. We want to make it easier for them to make great music.
We are respected in the industry, but still a small, yet independent team. This means that you instantly become an important part in our mission to reimagine the music making.
About the role
As a part of our Customer Success team, you will support music makers to get the most out of Reason. You will help with issues ranging from pre-sales questions to placing orders to licensing and setting up their account. We are tight, small team that work closely together to help our customers.
You’ll have the opportunity to work from home on your own computer, using Slack and Zoom to stay connected with the team.
We typically need more help during holidays (summer, christmas etc) but opportunities to work will come continually during the year as we launch new products etc.
Who you are
You are passionate in helping others succed and enjoy analyzing information and pinpointing problems. You are proactive and seek to always put the customer first. When a problem is tough to solve you enjoy working together with engineers, product managers and marketing find a resolution.
We believe this is the perfect role for someone who has an interested in music making, has a flexible schedule and looking for extra work part-time in a fun environment where you get to talk to music makers every day.
What experience you need:
- Previous experience in customer service.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- While you don’t need to be an expert in every DAW on the market, a familiarity with the concepts of DAWs and plug-ins, and working with MIDI and audio on a computer will be necessary.
- A general understanding of computer software when it comes to subscription, compatibility, upgrading and installation procedures.
